Released in 2007, the 3rd generation R³⁵ GT-R sold for ¹⁵ years, making it a uniquely long-selling model for a Japanese car. With continual improvements during its production lifetime, it matured with each year. In March ²⁰²³, Nissan announced the ²⁰²⁴ model would be the fully evolved form of the R³⁵ GT-R. Specifically, this encapsulated total vehicle balance with newly designed aero parts delivering improved aerodynamic performance. A new muffler structure reduced noise and vibration, but still produced that comforting powerful exhaust note. In the GT-R’s proud history, NISMO cars are positioned at the top of high-performance models being infused as far as possible with racing technology. Cornering performance was improved with the addition of mechanical LSD on the front and optimized ⁴WD control while a newly shaped rear wing and mounting position elevated aerodynamics. In addition, exclusive Recaro carbon backed bucket seats with updated specifications provided increased rigidity and occupant grip. To complete the pinnacle of GT-R development, the ‘NISMO Special Edition’ incorporated high-precision weight-balanced engine parts such as special carbon engine hood.
