Released in 2007, the 3rd generation R³⁵ GT-R sold for ¹⁵ years, making it a uniquely long-selling model for a Japanese car. With continual improvements during its production lifetime, it matured with each year. In March ²⁰²³, Nissan announced the ²⁰²⁴ model would be the fully evolved form of the R³⁵ GT-R.

A new muffler structure reduced noise and vibration, but still produced that comforting powerful exhaust note. In addition, exclusive Recaro carbon backed bucket seats with updated specifications provided increased rigidity and occupant grip. To complete the pinnacle of GT-R development, the ‘NISMO Special Edition’ incorporated high-precision weight-balanced engine parts such as special carbon engine hood.
