Year 1985 still is the dawn of the 205 models' career. The first 205 vehicle is, indeed, put on the market in 1983. Only available in 5-door body styles, Peugeot extends the range with the 3-door bodies ; these, now, have their name starting with the letter X (instead of G).

The Peugeot XR is, therefore, a 3-door mid-range model, the equivalent of the 5-door GL model.This 1 :87 model car, painted in Vallelunga Red, is based on that real car that becomes very popular towards the men. Also, notice the so typical "cross-brace" wheel covers.
