The model update in 2002 can be recognised above all by the changed rear light graphics. The sober lines of the Golf IV are perfectly emphasised by the Tornado red paint (colour code LY3D). This is complemented by the "Route 66" wheels and the 1.6 litre engine - a typical Golf that could be found by the thousands on Europe's roads.
